PersonalityResearchquestion 3: What are the personal characteristics of the client? To investigate what the personal characteristics of the client are, the HEXACOPersonality Inventory was used. The hypothesis is that ‘Conscientiousness’ isone of the personality traits of the client.

This means that it has to be aboveaverage. All the data of the HEXACO Personality Inventory are displayed in theappendix, table 3.  Honesty-Humility (above average). The client scored above average on scale ‘Honesty-Humility’ and also aboveaverage on the subscale ‘Fairness’ and ‘Greed-Avoidance’ (see table 3 inappendix). This means according to the client that she is not inclined tomanipulate others for personal gain, unwilling to take advantages of otherindividuals, avoiding fraud and corruption. Furthermore she is relativelyuninterested in wealth, luxury, social status and privileges.Emotionality (below average).

The client scored below average on scale ’emotionality’ and below average onthe subscales ‘Sentimentality’ and ‘Anxiety’ (see table 3 in appendix). Thisindicates that the client feels less emotional and feels little worried even instressful situations. In personal relationships she can be independent andemotionally detached. Agreeableness (Above average) The results of the HEXACO Personality Inventory shows that the client scoresabove average on the scale ‘Agreeableness’ and also above average on thesubscales ‘Forgiveness’ and ‘Patience’ (see table 3 in appendix). Thisindicates that the client has the tendency to compromise and cooperate withothers. She does not lose her temper easily and remains quiet.  Furthermore, she forgives easily the personswho did something wrong.

Conscientiousness (Above average)The client scored above average on the scale ‘Conscientiousness’ and aboveaverage on the subscales ‘Organization’ and ‘Prudence’ (see table 3 inappendix). According to the client she can work organized, disciplined andstructured. When she has to make a decision the client considers all theoptions thoroughly.

Conscientiousness is one of the personality traitsof the client. So the hypothesis that the client is conscientiousness isaccepted.
